Molly Bakes! FreakShakes

Hi lovelies,

Do you ever just go on instagram and explore food pages and look for new restaurants to visit? No? Just me? Well, I came accross Molly Bakes. Falling instantly in love I knew I just had to find it.

Molly Bakes is a relatively new small cafe that can only found in East London. It is by far the best and most inexpensive dessert I've ever had, and I most definitely will be going back.

The best dessert I've ever had! Post coming up soon!

Matou Pan Asian Restaurant Liverpool- Amazing food and great food. I'm actually considering this being the location for my graduation dinner.

Honey Roasted BBQ Chicken Wings

Hey Lovelies,

I've been cooking quite a lot recently, to the point that my family and friends seem a bit surprised. Over the following weeke
nd I was craving wings after been inspired by a video I saw on facebook. Honestly guys it taste so much like the wings you buy at restaurants!

Ingredients

  • Plain flour
  • Garlic granules
  • Maggi
  • Paprika pepper
  • Salt
  • Honey
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Fresh Chicken wings
Instructions
  • Rinse the chicken wings
  • In a mixing bowl add one cup of plain flour, one teaspoon of salt, one cube of maggi, one tablespoon of paprika pepper (put as little or as much as you want), one teaspoon of garlic, I also used ground pepper ( not a necessity). Mix together
  • Add the wings in flour mixture
  • Grease foil in oven pan
  • Place in oven for 45mins at about 260. In between turning the wings so it can evenly cook
  • In another bowl- mix BBQ sauce and honey  together ( Just guestimated the amount)
  • Once wings are baked in oven for 45 mins. Add wings to sauce mixture in bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Place back in tray and leave in oven for about 10mins at 280. Make sure you check in intervals as it darkens very quickly.

Restaurant Hopping- Oblix The Shard London, KO Grill Liverpool, Moose & Moonshine Liverpool

Hey lovelies,
I cannot believe how long it's been since my last post! I've just been busy doing nothing, as my mum would say. On the other hand I received some great news last week- I got a job! It's official guys, I'm going to be a working lady this August. Scary stuff!
Okay back to the post. As you should all know by now, one of my talents is eating and graciously hopping from restaurant to restaurant.  Over the past couple of weeks, I've been to several restaurants in London and in Liverpool. Here are a few of my favourites so far, I recommend you try them all!

Oblix Restaurant, The shard London
Oblix is located on the 32nd floor of The shard in London bridge, popularly known for its location and amazing view. The  view is breathtakingly beautiful, and really did live up to the hype. It was all very much sophisticated, as you would expect for a £65 per head private dining experience. It consisted of a Asian style shared 9 course meal, this excluding wine and refreshments.  I must admit the dishes were very delicious, and in very large portions (to that extent that we barely finished half). I was disappointed by the desserts, so disappointed that I didn't even bother taking a picture.

KO Grill Liverpool
I love Indian food! KO is an authentic Eastern Grill restaurant located in the very popular Bold street. When it comes to Indian food I always order the same main- chicken biryani extra spicy! You can never go wrong. I did try something new this time, the Mango Lassi (as recommended by my very beautiful dinner date). It is a traditional Indian/Punjarb yogurt based drink. I fell in love instantly, to the point that I started googling how to make it. For appetizers I had their Tandoori chicken wings dipped in a spicy sauce.

Moose and Moonshine, Loverpool
I heard a lot of good reviews about this Restaurant, so I thought I'd go check it out. It's an British/Canadian style menu, but my first impression was that it is an American style restaurant. The food was good, I was pretty full from just the main, which is unlike me. I do plan on visiting again, especially their partner chain Moose and coffee, to try out their brunch menu.

This is a bit odd, but I am really obsessed with Chesterfield sofas, a part of me wants to be an interior designer.

I hope to be posting a few more things within a week so subscribe and keep reading.

Breakfast for Champs!

Hey lovelies,

Is it too late to have a new year's resolution? Well, mine would be to have a healthy nutritious breakfast like this every morning (but maybe a smaller portion, I got a bit carried away).
I decided to try something new, I must admit I usually do not have the time in the mornings to make breakfast, and tend to go for faster options such as: cereal bars, smoothies or fruits as I head off to hospital. I'm pretty sure we've all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but somehow we still manage to either have nothing or eat chocolates or cookies! But since it's still the new year and new improved me, I'm really trying to make sure I eat clean and stay active.

It was almost to pretty to eat it, haha who am I kidding, it was gone within seconds!

Camden ft The Blues Kitchen

Hey lovelies,

So I decided to do a bit more exploring around London, and decided to visit somewhere different. Somehow I ended up with Camden, due to the fact that it had the American style diner that I've always wanted to go. I literally only left my house knowing that food was going to be the end result, (LOL!), you will all come to realise that I have an obsession with food.

Quirky underestimates the vibe, they are truly dedicated to their love of Punk, Rock or Heavy metal. I felt a tad bit out of place!
Camden is the home of the late Amy Winehouse.

The Blues Kitchen

It was my cheat day, therefore it was only right for me to stuff my face.

I ordered from the brunch menu
- Buttermilk Pancakes-short stack
-English breakfast
-Rib & pulled pork combo

Overall the food was pretty good, and I would most definitely recommend the desserts.

I'm no fashion expert, nor am I a fashion blogger haha. But if you want to know where the clothes I'm wearing are from here they are:

Bomber Jacket- TopMan (They don't have this colour anymore :( )

White shirt- Burton Men
Jeans- Topshop
Boots- JustFab

London Westminister ft Ping Pong resturant

Hey Lovelies,

So, last weekend I decided to get off my butt and do a bit of exploring in london. I also wanted to test out my photography skills, as I recently bought myself a digital camera. But as you can probably tell from the quality of my pictures, there is still a lot of room for improvement!

I decided to head off to Westminster, which is a definite must visit when in london. It's the home of the very popular Big Ben and London Eye.

Despite living in london for such a long time, I've never actually been out to simply enjoy the beautiful scenery. Well, that's probably because I'm the girl that sits at home, eats, and complains about being bored all day!

It took me several attempts to get a decent picture of The Big Ben. I was actually curious about the origins of the name Big Ben. So I asked my little friend google, only to find out the source is unknown. The Big Ben is literally just the nickname given to the clock on the Palace of Westminster (correct me if I'm wrong).

On a side note, I did a presentation in the house of parliament when I was much younger, for one of the charities I worked with. It was only a small audience, but it included members of the parliaments! Unfortunately in those days there were no such thing as a selfie (I probably had a Nokia phone ).

The london Eye! Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the beauty in this picture, not to blow my own horn, but it's actually a pretty decent picture! I've never been on the london eye; I'm not a big fan of heights, but I can enjoy its beauty from a distance... with both my feet on the ground.

Ping Pong Restaurant.

I literally cannot walk 5 minutes without thinking about I'm going to eat next. I came across this really cute Chinese Dim Sum Restaurant. If you are like me, you may be wondering what the heck dim sum means, It literally means - a Chinese dish of small steamed or fried savoury dumplings containing various fillings. Thank you Google, again.

Overall the restaurant was pretty good.  Out of 5 stars I would give it a 3.
